향수병은 이태리 피렌체(Florence)에서 크리스탈로 제작되며 나성형의 그루브 패턴은 장인의 수작업으로 제작된다. 이러한 향수병 제작은 2단계로 나누어지는데 첫번째 단계는 유리 장인이 필요한 만큼의 크리스탈 유리를 블로우파이프로 오븐에서 떠낸 후 액체 유리를 입으로 불어 주물안으로 넣는다. 두번째 단계로 유리가 식으면서 형태를 가지게되면 회전장비들을 사용하여 수작업으로 갈아내고 그루브를 새기게 된다. 그런 후 산성수(acid baths)에 담가서 크리스탈의 영롱함을 다시 되살리게 된다.

The perfume bottle is made of crystal glass in Florence. The spiral grooves pattern is hand engraved.

Producing such bottles is a two steps process. First the glass master pick up in the oven the necessary quantity of crystal glass with a blowpipe. He then mouth blows the liquid glass into a mould. Once the gross shape is cooled manual grinding and engraving takes place using rotating mechanical tools. The crystal brillance is then restored through acid baths.
