FOUNDER'S EDITION SHAVING BOWL

본질로 돌아와서 아트웍이 적용된 면도보울이 각 이야기를 담기 전에 순수한 형태로 시작하였다. 조용한 고귀함과 일상의 효용성을 추구한 창립자가 기념하는 the Founder’s Edition은 장인정신(craftmanship)과 그 정신을 정의하는 자제력(restraint)을 형상화하였다. 어떤 그림도 없이 24K gold로 테두리 처리되고 일상 용도로 디자인되어 잘 만들어졌을 때 단순함(simplicity)이 그 자체의 럭셔리(its own kind of luxury)라는 신념을 반영한 것이다. 

약 100년 전 개발되고 지금도 여전히 선명성(clarity)과 내구성(durability)으로 선호되는 전통적인 스크린 프린트 방법을 이용한 아트웍(artwork)이 적용되어 전통적인 쉐이빙 보울에 가장 적합하고 어울린다. 각 색상은 전이되는 매체위의 세라믹 색소가 프린트된 후 수작업으로 조심스럽게 보울에 부착된 후 고열의 가마에서 구워진다. 그 결과 선명한 디테일과 깊이있는 색상 그리고 오래 지속되는 아름다움이 융합된 디자인으로 태어난다. 최상의 결과와 오랜 기간 즐기기위해서 사용법과 보관방법을 참조하세요.

A return to the essentials. Before every illustrated shaving bowl takes on its story, it begins here, in pure form. Admired by our founder for its quiet elegance and everyday utility, the Founder’s Edition embodies the craftsmanship and restraint that define our philosophy. Trimmed in 24K gold and designed for daily use, it reflects a belief that simplicity, when done well, is its own kind of luxury.

The artwork is applied using traditional screen-printed ceramic transfers, a method developed nearly a century ago and still favored for its clarity and durability, well suited to a shaving bowl grounded in tradition. Each color is printed with ceramic pigment onto a transfer medium, then carefully applied by hand and kiln-fired. The result is a fused design with crisp detail, rich color, and lasting beauty.
